Opening the Shed
Aye-up all! It’s been a crazy first month here in The Shed. It’s been my dream for a long time now to open up my potting shed to the world and sell my home grown produce. My friends and much better half have helped me realise that dream and we open the doors on the 1st of August. It seems there was a festival starting that time which really helped the world see what I’ve been growing in my allotment. People from the world over came to sample our local produce and great drink.
My oldest friends are some top farmers providing me with great beef, pork, chicken and fish. Morag, my old lady, is a dab hand dairy farmer as well. She’s also partial to a cocktail or two so provides a great wee spread of quirky cocktails for our guests.
Jock my old friend the pig farmer is also a bit of a home brewer and has a braw lager for us. I’m working with him just now on an ale as well. A lovely, light session India Pale Ale dry hopped for a fruity burst of aroma as you sit back and enjoy a schoonerful. Best be off to check on it actually!
Cheers for now,
